Q. How much do your scripts cost?
A. They are FREE. However, if you have found them useful
please consider DONATING a nominal amount to help keep the site up and running.
Q. Will you package my VBscript into an executable file (EXE) for me?
A. If you are willing to share your script with others
on the scriptingpod.com web site, I will package your script for free, post it on this site, and give you credit.
If you do not wish to share your script I will package it for you for a nominal charge. Either way,
please contact me at:
Q. You're calling these scripts but they look like applications - what gives?
A. They are indeed scripts however, I have
packaged them inside of an executable or hypertext application for ease of use and overall simplicity. Some may say that packaged scripts
are applications, well technically they may be right. Call them scripts, call them applications, but no matter what you call them - you
can definitely call them useful!
Q. Are there viruses inside of the scripts?
A. No.
Q. Can I use these scripts in a commercial production environment?
A. Yes, as long as you follow standard IT practices and test the
scripts in a testing/staging environment first - AND - you have agreed to the End User License Agreement.
Q. Why are you doing this?
A. For fun, to share knowledge, and to give back to the IT community.
Q. Who are you?
A. ScriptingPod.com is owned by Lee Laboy. Lee Laboy is employed as an IT Manager in Milwaukee, Wisconsin but works on ScriptingPod.com as one of his hobbies.
Lee also enjoys woodworking, basketball, track & field, bicycling, and classic arcade restoration.
